Walgreens: Loreal Root Rescue $1 (YMMV)

Late Saturday night, I stopped by at a 24 hour Walgreens to pick up some Free Velveeta Cheesy Skillets with the $1.50/1 coupon I was emailed from Kraft First Taste + IVC. While there, I headed on over to their H & B aisles and noted that there was a tear pad for $2/1 L'oreal Root Rescue hair dye next to all the hair dyes. The dye was pretty expensive (over $7) so I kept on walking around the store until I arrived at the clearance section (most Wags stores have a clearance section usually at the back of the store).

What did I find in the clearance section?

 None other than L'oreal Root Rescue dye for $3

I hurried on back to the $2 tear pad and grabbed a couple 

$1 hair dye!! Yippee lol

My roots are pretty bad right now so it was meant to be ;)

Imagine my surprise when I looked at my receipt as I walked to my car and saw that I had received 2000 points for purchasing this dye as well!

I didn't know why so when I got home, I took a look at the online ad and realized it was in the ad this past week:

Loreal Root Rescue $5.99 + 2000 points wyb 2

hahaha

Without knowing it I had scored Free hair dye

The 2000 points deal is no longer valid (Sat, 2/23 was the last day)

But if you happen to come across this tear pad at your local Wags (also spotted it at Fry's), you may want to keep an eye out for L'oreal Root Rescue on clearance as well
