This past week I printed a rare $1 off fresh pork coupon here
I wasn't too excited about it since I didn't see a sale this week to go along with it
However, last night I made a trip to Sprouts and noticed that featured in this week's ad is a 50% off all-natural roast sale
It includes: Center Cut Pork Loin, Pork Sirloin, Sirloin Tip, Chuck and Rump
So I headed on over to the meat department and was excited to find that Boneless Pork Shoulder Roast is also included at $1.49/lb
The best part is that you can ask the butcher to cut X amount of pork into separate packages to pay the least amount OOP with coupon
The meat department was already closed at the time I was there so I just grabbed one 2.5 lb pack and paid ~ $1/lb
I plan on heading back this weekend to request (2) 1 lb packets of pork
I'll end up paying ~ 49¢ per packet with the coupon above
Great deal especially since hubby loves to eat carnitas tacos
